One Cool Thing
One Cool Thing is a podcast speaking with people in and around videogames about One Cool Thing not from games which is really fascinating them at the moment. One of the founding principles of Die Gute Fabrik is interdisciplinarity - collaborating with people from other art forms to bring fresh ideas to video games. And that’s also what’s at the heart of this podcast series: what not from games is shaping how people think about making games right now?
As host, each week DGF Studio Lead Hannah Nicklin will introduce the exciting guest and their practice to you before getting into a deep dive into what their One Cool Thing is, how it’s shaping their thoughts at the moment and what they hope it could offer others.
This a chance to hear more about the practices of cool folks working in games, and hopefully somewhere where we can all reflect on how we think about how we make things together.

Claudia Molinari on Dreaming
On episode 13 we meet Claudia Molinari who chats with Hannah Nicklin about dreaming.
Claudia is a graphic designer, illustrator and art director originally from Italy but who also lived in the UK for a while. After working as a graphic designer for a number of years she co-founded We Are Müesli with Matteo Pozzi, who are an indie game studio who focus on story-driven games such as Venti Mesi a game about italian anti-fascism and they also work on non-digital games too, for example Colp di Stato a card-based game that sees you explore the 1972 attempted coup by Junio Valerio Borghese in Rome where the far-right tried to seize power in the country.
